Were you a part of the approximately 94,000 violations issued for fiscal year 2010?<\/p>\n<p>Scaffolding (1926.451) topped the list again with 8,371 violations although this number is down from last years total of 9,093 violations.<\/p>\n<p>Second place went to Fall Protection (1926.501) with 7,559 violations.<\/p>\n<p>Hazard Communication (1910.1200) came in third with a total of 6,633 total violations. In past years, Hazard Communication was usually the #1 cited standard, so it&#8217;s good to know that one of these numbers have come down significantly.<\/p>\n<p>Respiratory Protection (1910.134) came in fourth place with a total of 3,932 violations. Do you know when you or your employees are supposed to wear respirators?<\/p>\n<p>The following shows the remainder of violations for the fiscal year:<\/p>\n<p>Ladders (1926.1053)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3,820 violations<\/p>\n<p>Lockout\/Tagout (1910.147)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3,531 violations<\/p>\n<p>Electrical &#8211; Wiring Methods (1910.305)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3,381 violations<\/p>\n<div id='xbnb'><\/div>\n<p>Powered Industrial Trucks (1910.178)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3,224 violations<\/p>\n<p>Electrical &#8211; General (1910.303)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2,770 violations<\/p>\n<p>Machine Guarding (1910.212)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2,556 violations<\/p>\n<p>If you or your company needs training in any construction safety topics, contact L.A.W.
