This is a very specific but crucial small part for owners of classic 4x4 Chevy/GM K30 trucks (and others) equipped with the legendary Dana 60 front axle. These are the 'slingers' or 'flingers' that press onto the outer axle shaft, right behind the wheel bearing. Their job is to sling grease from the differential outward to lubricate the wheel bearings. Over decades, they can wear out or get damaged. This set includes TWO pieces (for left and right sides), made by OEM Dana Spicer, the original equipment manufacturer. They are made in the USA from steel and come with a lifetime warranty. Part numbers they replace include 37308, 48765, etc. If you're rebuilding a Dana 60 front end, replacing axle shafts, or just doing a bearing service, you should always install new slingers.
